I'm a volcanology and experimental igneous petrology graduate student at Baylor University. I'm interested in all things volcanism. Currently, I focus on the triggers, drivers, and products of explosive, silicic eruptions. Using experimental and analytical techniques, I'm working to simulate magmatic ascent in the lab to assess how faithfully melt embayments in volcanic quartz crystals record decompression.
